Eric Lynn Hacker (born March 26, 1983, in Duncanville, Texas) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball.

Drafted by the New York Yankees in the 23rd round of the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft, Hacker began his career in the Yankees farm system.[1]
He has played for the Gulf Coast Yankees, Staten Island Yankees, Charleston RiverDogs, Tampa Yankees, Trenton Thunder, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.
On May 9, 2009, Hacker was designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster for Brett Tomko. [2]
On May 16, 2009, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates for pitcher Rómulo Sánchez.

On December 18, 2009, Hacker signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants.
On November 9, 2010, Hacker signed a major league contract with the Minnesota Twins.[5] He was called up to Minnesota on April 19, 2011.[6] On April 27, Hacker was optioned back to Triple-A Rochester. On July 17, he was outrighted off the 40-man roster.
Hacker signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants on December 20, 2011.
